CANCELLATION POLICY
Advance Notice
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give 24 hours advance notice you will be charged 50% of the service fee. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. In the event that you have purchased a series or gift certificate/voucher, one appointment will be deducted from your remaining session(s) to cover the missed one.
Same Day Cancellations
You are responsible for the full amount or a portion thereof for the service, when canceling the day of your massage.
No-Shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” If you are a “no show” you are responsible for the cost of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment. First time clients will not be re-booked.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Your massage begins at the scheduled appointment time. Out of respect for your therapist and those who follow you, please allow yourself sufficient time for filling out paperwork, consulting with your therapist and clothes change. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
It is the policy of Benita Cason LMT, MMP to remain open during most periods of inclement weather; however, where extraordinary circumstances warrant, due to weather or other unforeseen business interruption, I will reserve the right to close the facility. Should this occur, I will make a decision by 8:30 a.m. during such periods of inclement weather and communicate this to you via text message.
Facility Closed
If the office is announced to be closed on a given day, any additional days will be announced after a damage and safety assessment has been conducted.
Facility Open
If the office remains open on an adverse weather day, you are still expected to show up for your scheduled appointment. If you choose not to show up or cancel your appointment in a timely manner based on the cancellation policy you are still liable for the session.
Regardless of whether the office remains open or closed on an inclement day, it is your decision to determine if you can make it to your appointment safely under the conditions. If you elect not to attend your session on the day after the inclement weather, I require you to text me by 8:30 a.m. advising me of your status for the day.
